Problem-Setting Applications Open to All Mackenzie Students!

posted on March 25, 2022, 9:12 p.m.

We're thrilled to announce that all Mackenzie students can now apply to set their own problems on the mcpt.ca judge!

To get started, read through the problem-setting guide to understand how to use the judge:

Afterwards, use the application form linked below and a Competitive Branch VP/executive will review your application. If you're approved, an email will be sent to you and you'll receive the needed permissions on the mcpt.ca judge. All problems that you set must still be approved by a competitive branch VP/executive before it is made public.

Upon being approved, the student will receive access to two resources:

  • A template problem that showcases how to use Markdown and LaTeX to format their problem statements
  • A google form that can be submitted to get their problems approved and made public

Happy problem-setting Mac!
