ICS3U Feature Restrictions

posted on Nov. 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

We have introduced a new system for restricting the allowed language features for the ICS3U contests.

If a feature is disallowed, it will be listed at the top of the problem statement. Disallowed features can include a wide variety of things; common examples might be arrays, certain string methods or certain classes.

If our system detects that you've used any of these features, you will receive a IR verdict and a note of which feature violation our system detected.

During the contest, if your submission is flagged, you will receive ZERO points.

If you believe that the system has flagged your submission by mistake, please send a ticket. At the end of the contest, undisputed submissions that have been detected by our system will be set to ZERO marks, thus it is imperative that you appeal the judgement if you believe that it is a mistake.
